If you are being seen for hearing loss, ear wax, ear infections, ringing in the ears, or other medical concerns, you will be scheduled for a hearing test followed by a medical examination with Dr. Birney. Important: Check with your insurance company to see if we must have a letter of referral from your primary care doctor before seeing you. If so, please be sure to bring the referral letter with you to your first appointment, or ask your primary care doctor to send it to us ahead of time. If we do not receive the referral letter, your appointment may need to be rescheduled.
For non-medical visits such as custom earmolds, new hearing aid evaluations, hearing aid repairs, etc. you will be scheduled with the audiologist only. We do not accept insurance for these services and payment is due at the time of service.
